2014 saw debukas receive critical acclaim thanks to his debut album, ‘i am machinery’, on 2020vision, and the subsequent remix album featuring a stellar lineup including ripperton, jd twitch and tuff city kids. the year also saw debukas entertain crowds at fabric, moog club and sonar by night. 2015 sees the ‘one-man synth orchestra’ return with an ep on his new glasgow/inverness based imprint, 2sox.

dartriix is a sporadic but permanent collaborative project between two of op.discs label heads, fumiya tanaka and yoshihiro hanno aka radiq. after 6 years of absence, dartriix finally makes their return with this intensive double pack lp flying one hand, which is a good surprise to us.

part four in the series sees mosaic return to its signature sound of the late 90 s : deep techno-tinged house. first up is uk house legend nail , who was in hiding in london and suffolk for a while , but is now back in his bunker in nottingham making music once again. his offering, -pharoah,- was created on boxing day 2013 especially for mosaic and contains all the hallmarks of classic nail productions of the 90s whilst maintaining a foot firmly in the present. if you like your house deep and sample heavy this cut is definitely worth checking out...on the flip we have two tracks from newcomer annie errez. annie is a resident dj at the mint club in leeds and has been developing her production skills over the last few years with appearances on holic trax , saints & sonnets as well as a very fine release on strobewax which she co-runs with fellow mint club resident bobby o donnell. if deep techno- house is your cup of tea then put the kettle on and listen to the sublime -bell curve- and the dubbed out bass monster that is auguste.- we are sure that you will agree that there is no doubt that she will be a producer to keep an eye on in the future

after three years, ascion and d.carbone return with *substructures*, their most experimental release to date on their label 3th. the a-side of this record holds two droney offbeat tracks, *ram expedients* and *lo-fi fields*, combining a rare/abstract and genuine mix of middle-eastern electronics, cyberpunk and uk warehouse techno. the b-side contains the tracks that are responsible for the nomenclature of this release: *substructures one/two*. being more oriented to genres such as idm and rave techno, they are characterized by powerful beats and cutting edge ambients and vocals. both tracks have been recorded during one of their live performances in london 2013.

secretsundaze return with ss016 - dj qus mighty ss1 ep. secretsundaze and qu have developed a special relationship with him playing at many of their parties in london but also at their events in the likes of new york, berlin and barcelona. a full 3 track ep on a label outside of his own strength music is rare for dj qu so its serious coup for secretsundaze.

the detroit music community has outposts in nearly every major city, and vancouver, british columbia is no exception. this ep represents the connection of two such artists, detroit native, josh garrett, who currently resides in vancouver and runs the subspec label, and rennie foster, a stalwart of the underground, who has spent a quarter of his life in tokyo, but born in bc and now living back there, in vancouver. rennie has released on a myriad of detroit labels, such as transmat, teknotika, soiree, subject detroit, wallshaker, and motech. josh and rennie met in vancouver, only since rennies recent return, and realizing they were of the same tribe, immediately began to collaborate on a number of projects, now including this limited run, double a-side, record, chalk full of dj friendly techno trax, firmly rooted in the motor city sound, yet unique enough to be a contributor, not just another imitator.
